 EPS 201 Earth History

My research interests are broad but all involve aspects of low-temperature geochemistry.  Currently I am entrenched in the fascinating world of isotopes and desert soils.  Some might consider soils as the omega while others the alpha; and others just consider them a covering to be removed to get to the good stuff.  I consider soils to be the most challenging natural laboratory to explore transitional geochemical processes.  Talk about open system!   Please visit PublicationsandAbstractsfor highlights of past and current research.

Otto is most helpful in retrieving
driftwood and digging soil pits, as seen
    here on Blackbeard Island,  Georgia.
