The Arts Technology Center is dedicated to research and artistic production in the area of emerging technologies. Partnerships, collaborations, creative and intellectual support, and accessibility guide the center's activities. The ATC continually develops partnerships with the private sector, institutions, museums, arts organizations, individuals, schools, government agencies, and with non-art units at UNM including the LodeStar Astronomy Center and the High Performance Computing, Education and Research Center (HPCERC). The center is an open environment and invites creative discourse between research fellows, faculty, students, and the public. Corporate sponsors support the center's work, encourage entrepreneurial strategies, and contribute to the economic development of the ATC, the University of New Mexico, and the State of New Mexico. Research and creative work supported by the center is shared via print and electronic publishing, on-site and online symposia, and on-site and online exhibitions and performances.
