Description Drawing from more than 25 hours of oral history interviews,
Dr. Glenda Balas of the University of New Mexico has written and
produced "The Long Road to Decatur: A History of Personal Influence."
The video documentary chronicles the development
of the classic (and controversial) book Personal
Influence: The Part Played by People in the Flow of Mass Communications, first
published in 1955. Jason Balas of the University of Oklahoma
was videographer for the project.
