The New Mexico Dept. of Workforce Solutions publishes quarterly reports of covered employment and wages. Data from 2000 and earlier are classified according to the old Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) system. Data from 2001 forward are classified by the new North American Industry Classification System (NAICS). The two data sets are not comparable, thus creating a break in the covered employment time series.
BBER has taken the quarterly reports of covered employment and created annual time series for the state and each county in New Mexico. Select the links below for the time period you want.
