Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamic (LEHD) Program

State and local authorities increasingly need detailed local information about their economies to make informed decisions - and yet are frustrated by the lack of timely local data. The LEHD/state partnership, a partnership between the Census Bureau and local Depts. of Labor, works to fill critical data gaps and provide indicators needed by state and local authorities.

The New Mexico Dept. of Labor, Economic Research and Analysis, is a partner with the Census Bureau in the LEHD Program. Through this program you can access 27 Quarterly Workforce Indicators (QWI) by industry and by county. To find out more about this program, and to access data for New Mexico, go to http://lehd.dsd.census.gov. After perusing the LEHD web site click on QWI Online under Quick Links in the upper left-hand corner of the main LEHD page to access data.
