Lucille is a native of Questa, New Mexico.  She has two sons, Loren and Rodrigo.  She earned an Associate of Arts from Albuquerque TVI and a Bachelors from the University of New Mexico, where she is also employed with the Chicano-Hispano-Mexicano Studies Program.
Currently  she is in the Masters program working towards a  degree in American Studies, with a minor in "Museum Studies."

As the Director of the Northern New Mexico Historical Society & Museum, in Questa, she works tirelessly to meet the opening target date of June 17, 2005.
