Multispectral images-to-spectra XPS imaging
For
the images-to-spectra experiment, a series of images
are collected in small eV steps over a BE range of the element of
interest.
A
single pixel or a group of pixels can be select from one
of the images and the intensity for that pixel/pixels is used as a
single point
in the spectrum. The spectrum is developed by plotting pixel
intensities as a
function of BE.
