- LOBOrientation/Summer Orientation -

Upon admission to The University of New Mexico students attend a LOBOrientation. LOBOrientation is a two-day program designed to prepare student for college life. Students learn about opportunities to get involved and be part of the education process and about university services and policies. Also, students will get academic advisement and be able to register for classes. For more information of LOBOrientation please review this web site. http://www.unm.edu/~nso/

On the second day of LOBOrientation, students meet with their academic advisors. Be sure to indicate on your UNM Application your interest in engineering/computer science. We would like Admissions to place you in the group with other students who are interested in engineering/computer science. Academic advisement during LOBOrientation is geared towards discussing requirements and policies within the School of Engineering (SOE). Academic Advisors discuss introductory engineering course requirements, UNM Core and degree requirements related to your interest in Degree Programs at the SOE.
