Transfer from other accredited institutions. If you are transferring to the University of New Mexico after having studied at another college or university, you may be eligible for admission directly into the College of Fine Arts. In general, the screening procedures and admission requirements are the same as those described above for admission from University College. A portfolio or audition may be required. On the UNM homepage, look at the section on Prospective Students to locate the application for admission to UNM as a transfer student. If you have any questions regarding admission, please contact the College of Fine Arts Advisement Center, (505)277-4817.
