What is brotherhood/sisterhood?
Well, sometimes it can be hard to explain, but it is definately a bond that is for a lifetime! Brothers and sisters share a collegiate experience that often transcends into friendships that last long after graduation. Fraternities and sororities offer a community that facilitates friendships. Each chapter has members with diverse interests and talents, allowing you to meet people you may never have met by not being a member.

At a large school like UNM, it can be hard to find a group or friends, but as a member of a Greek organization, many men and women develop close friendships that last a lifetime. These are the types of friendships that stay with you for the rest of your life and create wonderful memories of you college experience. It's not easy to explain the bond of brotherhood and sisterhood but it is very special and deeply cherished. As a bonus, inter/national fraternities and sororities have alumni chapters that provide support and friendship all over the world!
