Building a Collaborative Team: The Essentials of Team Effectiveness

 


PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Have you tried to build a collaborative team? Have you found the process to be challenging? Considering all of the different aspects of your department, work environment, and business needs, you may be wondering where to begin. In this course we will explore the characteristics of effective teams and discuss how to create the necessary elements. Learn about the stages of team development and success factors. The class provides tools to help create a foundation for an effective team. The tools will help provide clarity through team charters and mission statements, identify necessary team roles, and recommend ideas for meeting structure and processes.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify stages of a team
  • Describe team factors required for successful teams
  • Identify the purpose of shared agreements, team charters, and team roles.
  • Create an action plan to identify ways to contribute to team success.

Anyone serving in a team leadership role.
