PROGRAM
DESCRIPTION
In today's diverse workplace, it's more important than ever to create an atmosphere where everyone feels respected, regardless of individual differences. The difficulty, though, is that it's not always easy to understand the subtle differences between appropriate and inappropriate workplace behavior, particularly with regard to those actions or comments that might be perceived negatively only by some. In this workshop, we'll examine such sensitive topics as national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, and personal characteristics. We'll also explore how we can all cultivate a harassment-free workplace based on respect.
