PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This overview provides a look at the "big picture" in the Banner Budget Process, defines new terms and concepts and reviews critical dates and the timeline for implementation. The overview includes a break-out session for people who are new to UNM or new to the Budget process.

Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Understand how budget and salary planner work together.
  • Look at the current and new process.
  • Review New Year budget process and timeline.
  • Get acquainted with Budget Planner using LoboWeb.
  • Provide resources for help.

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS CLASS

All new and current staff who are responsible for preparing and processing New Year budget and Mass Salary Update information for their respective organization(s) should take this class.   .
