golden eagle

Gina, our trusty 14-yield pure bred mutt.

Our wonderful dog Ged (pronounced Jed) was put to sleep on 21 August, 2007.  He was suffering from cancer, and was in sharp decline. Ged was a wise old soul (15 years!), and did not care much for obedience.  He was as loyal as a shadow, and seemed to have a great sense of humor.  We will miss him dearly.

Ged in the Manzano Mountains.

Release of a Golden Eagle in the Manzanos, at the Manzano HawkWatch site.  Go visit a HawkWatch site already!  But take note New Mexicans, the Manzanos site is closed in 2008 because of the Trigo fire.  Click the eagle to go to www.hawkwatch.org.
