The Twenty-Second Albuquerque Antiquarian Book Fair will be held at the University of New Mexico's Conference Center at 1634 University Boulevard, just north of Indian School Road.
Dealers of used, out-of-print, and rare materials from across the Western states will participate. They will offer books, maps, photos, prints, postcards and other printed collectibles in diverse subjects. Free parking will be available both days.
The event is sponsored by the Maxwell Museum of Anthropology and run by its volunteers. All proceeds will benefit the Museum’s Clark Field Archives & Library Fund.

Dr. Nancy Parezo is Professor of American Indian Studies and Research Professor of Anthropology at the University of Arizona. In addition, she is Curator of Ethnology in the Arizona State Museum and a Senior Research Fellow of Anthropology at the Smithsonian Institution. She is a specialist in Navajo and Pueblo Indian arts and ritual, the history and popularization of anthropological research in the Southwest-especially the role of women, anthropological museology, and Native American dress. Parezo has written or edited ten books including Navajo Sandpaintings: From Religious Act to Commercial Art, Daughters of the Desert: Women Anthropologists and the Native American Southwest, Anthropology Goes to the Fair: The 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition, Their Own Frontier: Women Intellectuals Re-Visioning the American West.
Both events are free and open to the public. The venues are wheelchair-accessible. Parking must be with a UNM parking permit or at a paying parking space, as UNM Police DO ticket.
