Chaucer in the Secondary Schools

A one-day seminar in teaching Chaucer in the Secondary schools led by:

Dr. Mary Wack
Chair, Department of English, Washington State University
Professor Wack specializes in Chaucerian Literature, and has implemented an "Electronic Chaucer" for Stanford University which allows students the opportunity to study Chaucerian manuscripts and scholarship via computer.

Dr. Patrick J. Gallacher
Professor of English, The University of New Mexico
Professor Gallacher is the Chaucerian at the University of New Mexico. His published work on Chaucer, Dante, and Middle English has focused on literary structure, Medieval psychology, philosophy, and medicine, and the art of interpretation

Dr. Marilyn Deegan
Director, Centre for Textual Studies, Office for Humanities Communication, Oxford University
Dr. Deegan is a specialist in computer research in the humanities. Recently she worked with the British Museum in developing a multi-media CD Rom tour of the Museum's Anglo-Saxon collection.
