Dante in the Secondary Schools
A one-day seminar in teaching Dante in the Secondary schools led by:

Dr. Christopher Kleinhenz
Professor of English, University of Kentucky
Professor Kleinhenz is the author of The Early Italian Sonnet: The First Century (1220-1321), has edited numerous books and journals, and has published some fifty articles on medieval Italian literature. His special interests include Dante, the lyric poetry of the 13th and 14th centuries, Petrarch, and Boccaccio.

Dr. Rachel Duke
Lecturer of Italian, The University of New Mexico
Dr. Duke has published several articles on medieval Italian, including "Five Eleventh Century Letters from the Codex Diplomaticus Sardiniae, Edition, Translation and Linguistic Analysis," and co-authored two language computer programs.

Dr. Leslie A. Donovan
Lecturer, University of New Mexico
Dr. Donovan has taught numerous courses in medieval culture and literature, has published computer-integrated teaching of literature, and conducted seminars in computer-integrated teaching in the humanities for college and secondary school teachers. Her research interests and teaching experience include world literature, ancient and classical literature, Old English saints' lives, and contemporary poetry.
