SERVICE SUMMARY: In 1950, concerned parents and teachers, recognized the need to assist children with clothing and shoes, started the PTA Clothing Sank. We have been at the present location since 1974. The bank is sponsored by the Sernalillo County Council of PTA. The Clothing Sank is a non-profit organization whose primary objective is to provide clothing to any student K-12 who is in need. Each child is given two sets of clothing, socks, and underwear, and if needed and if available, shoes and a jacket or coat. Open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00AM to 1 :OOPM, during the school year, to serve students and receive donations.
