SERVICE SUMMARY: Provides for assistance to victims of disasters. Provides for training in disaster response and community preparedness for disasters. Provides for special assistance to military families in the areas of emergency communications and assistance in obtaining emergency military leave. Also provides for a variety of educational and training 
programs, such as First Aid, Water Safety, general community safety, and injury 
prevention. Other programs offered are: home nursing, disease prevention, emergency medical care, health presentations, and HIV/AIDS workplace education. Also offers an Emergency Minor Home Repair Program for income eligible home owners in Albuquerque.
