Rules
and Regulations for Use of Lawrence Ranch Facilities
- The University
does not provide linens, cooking ware, and dishes in the cabins.
- Dogs are
not allowed outside the cabins except on a leash. No more than two dogs
are allowed. Dogs are not to be left unattended in cabins.
- Outside
cooking is allowed only at charcoals grills provided. NO OPEN FIRES.
Smoking and outside cooking may be restricted during periods of extreme
fire danger.
- During inclement
weather, vehicle chains are required.
- Firearms
are NOT ALLOWED.
- It is the
guest's responsibility to pay for all lost or damaged furnishings.
- The University
is not responsible for items left in the cabins at check-out time.
- The Lawrence
Memorial, grave, ranch buildings, and all related facilities must not
be marred, altered, or defaced in any way.
- Under no
circumstances may furniture be removed from cabins for outdoor use.
- Trees and
shrubbery are not to be defaced, cut, or dug.
- Campers,
trailers, and tents are not permitted.
- Loud parties
or loud playing of radios or televisions is not permitted.
- The maintenance
area is off limits to unauthorized personnel.
- Before check-out,
as a condition of use, cabins are to be cleaned and locked; keys are
to be turned in to the Ranch Manager. DO NOT TURN OFF HEAT.
