With a staff of over 275, Environmental Services is the largest division of the Physical Plant Department, headed by Associate Director Dr. R. Gary Smith. The services of this division are also quite diverse, covering functions such as the cleaning of buildings, refuse removal, landscape
installation and maintenance, vehicle maintenance and rentals, pest control, moving and coordination of campus special events. This division consists of Automotive & Rental Fleet, The Arborists, Grounds, Landscaping and Irrigation, Health Sciences Custodial Services, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), Main Campus Custodial Services, Special Activities and The Movers, and The Sign Shop.
