The Fitness Program offers a variety of wellness and fitness classes, workshops, and seminars. Just a few of the many classes offered include Pilates, Yoga, Cardio-Kick Boxing, Deep-Water Aerobics, Lunch-Time Lift (step), Salsa, Hip-Hop, and Belly-Dancing.

    • The "Works" pass is valid for all classes listed on the Summer 2008 "Works" Fitness Program. The prices for this pass is $35 for UNM Students, $40 for UNM Faculty and Staff and $60 for Community Members.

New! Fitness Assesments

Bring your summer workout up to date or by add some new challenges to your workout with a complete fitness assessment. Each assessment can be purchased for a small fee of $10 if you purchase a 2008 Summer “Works” pass. The assessment is applicable to all UNM students, faculty and staff. The purpose of these assessments provides a baseline measurement of cardiovascular, muscular endurance, body composition, Body Mass Index, and flexibility. Fitness assessments can aid in goal setting, tracking of progress, evaluation of health related components and motivation!

*These assessments can also be purchased by themselves for a fee of $20 with discounts for students. A schedule of times available for you to sign up are provided in the office of Recreational Services.

Next Level Fitness

These classes offered in the Next Level Fitness Program are all goal-oriented classes that progress throughout the semester. The space availability for participants in these classes are limited to a smaller amount so that the instructor can focus on the individual’s needs and the proposed goal. So if you feel up to a little bit of a challenge, then these classes are for you! Sign-up today!
