Agenda


The agenda is obviously still under development at this early time.  However, you need to understand the unique structure and content of this meeting to appreciate how you can benefit from attending this meeting, regardless of whether you are an undergraduate student, graduate student, or PhD trained educator or researcher in exercise physiology.

The conference begins on Thursday evening, September 22, 2011 with a reception to promote interaction between attendees.  The Exhibitors booths will also be open at this time.

Friday is a long day with breakfast and snack food provided through the morning professional presentations.  The afternoon sessions consist of hands-on or participation activities all afternoon at New Mexico Sports & Wellness (NM S&W).  Added conference sessions occur into the evening based on a group discussion theme on topics important to improving the exercise physiology profession.

Saturday is another near full day, with morning presentations such as the Key Note Address and student research presentations in the ballroom, and afternoon "hands-on" sessions at New Mexico Sports & Wellness (NM S&W).  The "hands-on" sessions are identical to the Friday sessions so that attendees can broaden their experiences across concurrent offerings.  ASEP provides a buffet lunch on Saturday, and further late afternoon sessions specific to developing an exercise physiology profession.
