Bennette’s Women's Health training was acquired through the Department of OB/GYN at the UNM Hospital. She became nationally certified in 1976. She received training as a Nurse Colposcopist through the Educational Program Associates in Campbell, California. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1994 at the University of New Mexico.
