Membership Eligibility

Alpha Epsilon Pi is not accepting new members at this time; the application deadline was Friday, March 28, 2008. All applications submitted after this deadline will be considered for next semester's membership. To be eligible for membership, an applicant must:
- Be an undergraduate at UNM, majoring or minoring in English Language or Literature, or the equivalent thereof
- Completed three semesters of college work and two English courses beyond ENGL 102
- Have at least an overall GPA of 3.0 and a 3.2 in all English coursework
- Complete the application in a manner deemed acceptable by the officers of Sigma Tau Delta and by its faculty advisor
- Pay the $40 membership fee which procures a lifetime membership to Sigma Tau Delta
You may either download the application here or pick up one in the English department office on the 2nd floor of the Humanities building. Please attach an unofficial transcript and a brief statement describing your reasons for becoming a member of Sigma Tau Delta.

If you were accepted into STD last semester but were unable to attend the initiation ceremonies in November or May, please contact Dr. Greenberg regarding your pin and certificate.
