Regents'
International Study Grants
- A degree-seeking
UNM undergraduate student.
- In good
academic standing at UNM
- Planning
to participate in an approved UNM study abroad program, such as international
exchange, short-term or faculty-led international course, intensive
language study, independent study, international internship, service-learning
program, etc.
- Able
to receive UNM credits or transfer credits for the international program.
- Demonstrate
financial need.
- Graduate
and Non- Degree students are not eligible.
Benjamin
A. Gilman Scholarship

$5,000 for study in any country and any major

To be eligible you must be currently receiving a Pell Grant
-
Non-traditional countries are given priority
-

Grants for study in Germany from two months to nine months

National Security
Education Program: David L. Boren Undergraduate Scholarships

Grants for overseas study related to geographical areas, languages and
fields of study related to U.S. national security (includes some majors
in sciences, business, computer science, health fields in addition to
social sciences)

Preference for study in Africa, East Asia and Pacific, Central and Eastern
Europe, Middle East, South Asia, Latin America
-
Cannot be used for study in Western Europe, Canada, New Zealand or Australia

Freshman through seniors eligible
-
Summer programs, one or two semester grants available
-
Grantees must commit to a period of working with a U.S. government agency
or institution of higher education within 8 years after completing overseas
study

Full funding for 12 months in Germany, including intensive German language
course, professional training in your field of study, a paid internship
with a German company or organization, homestay with a German family

Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarships
