Welcome! My lab at the University of New Mexico is interested in the role that culture plays in how we think. My graduate students and I are currently investigating such topics as alcohol use and consequences in ethnic populations, schizophrenia in a Hispanic population, the effects of acculturation in cognitive ability testing, culture-fair neuropsychological testing in older veterans, and PTSD and cognition.
