The Women Studies Program is seeking applications for TAships
for the 2006-2007 academic calendar year (fall 2006/spring
2007) from students interested in gender/women studies from
any department at UNM. The load is 1/1, and the TA usually
teaches a core course in Women Studies. Contracts include
tuition remission & stipend and UNM health benefits.
Women Studies is committed to giving priority in its TA search
to Ph.D. students who are ABD; experience teaching core courses
is very helpful as is expertise in the content area of the
core courses. Providing sample syllabi and your ability to
teach specific courses in WS will also be helpful to the committee
reviewing applications.
