Teaching Assistantships

Applications for graduate teaching assistantships for the academic year are due in March.

  • Students interested in gender/women studies from any department are eligible to apply, but must be accepted into graduate studies at UNM. 
  • Doctoral students preferred. 
  • Contracts are for one academic year, include tuition remission & stipend.

Requirements

  • Teaching Assistants will be expected to teach two classes per year.
  • Submit application form, curriculum vitae, and letter of interest to include: 
    1. Reasons for interest in working in Women Studies; 
    2. Experience and scholarship in a Women Studies program;
    3. Perspective on feminism; 
    4. Research and teaching experience; 
    5. Contact information for 2 references; 
    6. Topic of thesis or dissertation.
