Professional Staff Employment Opportunities at the BBER
The Bureau of Business and Economic Research at the University of New Mexico occasionally has positions available for economists, demographers or others with relevant backgrounds and/or experience doing applied socio-economic research.
When positions are available, application can be made on line. Postings can be viewed on the UNM Human Resources web site at jobs.unm.edu/jobopenings.cfm. Sort the job postings by department by clicking on the word "Department" in that column header. Look for all postings listed for the "Bureau of Business and Economic Research". Follow the instructions under "eJOBS" to submit an application.
Student Employment Opportunities at the BBER
The BBER is always looking for good student employees to help us in our work. We have positions in both clerical and research assistance. Both graduate and undergraduate students can apply. We prefer work study-qualified applicants, but this is not a necessity if you have the skills we need. If you are interested in working with us, you must work through the UNM student employment office. Their web site is at http://www.unm.edu/~wsestudy/.
You will find direct links to our job postings below. Follow those links and print off the Job Request/Work-Study Job Request form. Complete that form, along with our own BBER student employment application form linked below. Bring both forms to Betty Lujan at our main office. We are located in Onate Hall at 303 Girard Blvd. NE, Suite 116 (SW corner of Girard and Campus Blvds.) and are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.- 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.-5p.m. You can find out more about our operations here.
