DEANS' COUNCIL

The Deans' Council meets monthly to discuss topics of interest relating to the different colleges, schools, and units contained within Academic Affairs and the University as a whole. These topics vary greatly in scope and, in some instances, are discussed over the course of several months. Topics routinely discussed by the Council include budgetary items; legislative priorities and strategies; faculty, staff, and student issues; programmatic information; curriculum; and development and alumni activities. Additionally, the Council has also worked on special projects and topics.

The membership of the Dean's Council, chaired by the Provost, includes the Deans of UNM's 12 colleges and schools, and the Dean of Continuing Education and Community Services.
