Etiquette and other Useful Words
Remember, a dojo, (traning hall) is also a place of respect and courtesy. We always bow when we enter the dojo and we honor our sensei (teacher) by bowing to him or her upon entering the dojo. Then, we pay our respects to any other black belts, and to higher ranking students, and our other classmates. It is often useful for new members to watch experienced members and follow their lead. Our dojo is an intense, rewarding and safe place to train.
