Schedule A Visit To UNM!

We look forward to seeing you at the University of New Mexico! The Office of Admissions conducts a Campus Visit Experience, which will include a one-hour trolley ride through our beautiful campus and a walking tour in order for you to experience a vibrant, world-class research university. Your visit will also include an information session that will provide you with information regarding admission, scholarships, financial aid, and student life. Schedule your visit today! Sessions begin at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday). Campus tours are also available on the second Saturday of each month. Visits begin at the Student Union Building, Room 2002 at 10:00 a.m. (Saturday only).

Our new Campus Visit Experience will begin at our new location at the Student Support and Service Center at 1155 University Blvd. SE (on the northwest corner of Avenida Cesar Chavez and University Blvd.).

Group Tours

Scheduled group visits include:

  • A 50-minute walking tour of the main campus.
  • An information session with a university representative regarding admissions, financial aid, scholarships, student life, and academic programs may also be scheduled.
  • Group Tours can be scheduled on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Tours on Monday and Wednesday begin at 10:30am and end at 12:00pm. Tours on Friday begin at 12:30pm and end at 2:00pm.

Self-Guided Lobo Tour

If you are unable to schedule a visit with us, or would simply like to explore the UNM campus on your own, the 'Self-Guided Lobo Tour' is an excellent resource. This tour is separated into two sections of information. The first is our Main Campus Tour. This tour gives in-depth information about many key buildings on main campus. The second half of this tour is our Residents Hall Tour located on main campus. Please download and print out the Self-Guided Lobo Tour Map provided as well as the actual tours to begin your exploration of The University of New Mexico!

Self-Guided Junior Lobo Scavenger Hunt

We also welcome visits from younger students in grades K – 8, promoting the importance of higher education at an early age.  Take part in this fun self-guided Junior Lobo Scavenger Hunt.  The hunt covers the major points of interest for younger visitors (including the Duck Pond, Bookstore, Popejoy, etc.).
