Things to Keep in Mind
Here are some things to keep in mind as you begin your online application! Incomplete information may delay the processing of your application.
If you are claiming New Mexico residency you will need information regarding the following (if under the age of 23, for your parent or guardian as well):
- Voter registration county, state and date.
- State and date of drivers license.
- Motor vehicle state and date of registration.
- If you intend to pay your fee online, a valid Visa or MasterCard number.
Note on the use of social security numbers: The University of New Mexico uses students' social security numbers as identification at the University. The number is used for record-keeping and statistical purposes only and is not disclosed to other parties for any purpose without written authorization of the student. The authority to use the social security number comes from the Board of Regents and was adopted on March 24, 1967.
