Application Requirements
For Regular or Dual Admission a student must:
- Be at least 18 years-old
- Have proof of high school graduation
- Have a minimum U.S. equivalent Grade Point Average of
2.0 (2.5 for Dual Admission)
- Have basic knowledge of the English language (CELAC does not offer beginning level classes.)
- Complete the enclosed application with financial guarantee and enclose the required school documents plus deposit

Regular Admission
- International students seeking an F-1 student visa will be sent an I-20 non-immigrant form for the duration of time you have requested to study at CELAC.
- If you decide to continue your studies, we can extend your I-20 with adequate financial guarantee.

Application for Regular or Dual Admission to CELAC
Conditional UNM Admission
- Conditional UNM Admission is for students interested in earning an UNDERGRADUATE
degree at UNM after finishing CELAC (not available for graduate students).
Conditional UNM Admission requires you to complete the UNM undergraduate application
at the same time as the CELAC application. If accepted for Conditional UNM
Admission, you will be sent a one-year I-20 form from CELAC and a conditional
acceptance letter from the UNM Admissions Office. You can begin your academic
studies only after attaining the required UNM English proficiency level. At
that time, you will be issued a new academic I-20 from UNM for five years.
- Please note that this application process takes more time and has an earlier
deadline.
