Dr. Edmunds started as an instructor at CELAC in 2000. After earning his MA in Linguistics, he became the Assistant to the Academic Director and worked in that role, while continuing to teach, through 2007. In 2008, he became the Academic Manager of CELAC. He completed his doctoral degree in Linguistics with a concentration in Speech & Hearing Sciences in 2009 and is currently the Director of CELAC.
Before working at CELAC, Paul taught at a variety of English programs in Mérida, Venezuela and was a volunteer ESL teacher in Minneapolis, MN while finishing his undergraduate degree in English and Spanish. He has also taught classes in the Linguistics, Spanish, and Communication & Journalism departments at UNM.
