Tatiana began her career in international education working at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. She has lived in many places including Zurich, Switzerland; Barcelona, Spain; and Lahore, Pakistan, as well as traveled to many other countries. She has taken graduate classes in TESOL at Western Illinois University and UNM. Tatiana began her career in working with International Students and intensive English programs at Blackhawk Community College in Moline, Illinois where she taught ESL for three years. In 1995, she moved to and settled down in Albuquerque to raise her two children and began working at the UNM Office of International Programs and Studies and CELAC. Currently, as Program Manager of CELAC, Tatiana oversees the student application process, management and marketing, and International Student advisement. She has organized international festivals showing her enthusiasm to share with others the traditions, food, and music of many cultures around the world. Tatiana speaks German, French, some Russian and Spanish. She enjoys many outdoor activities such as skiing, mountain biking, hiking, volleyball, tennis, and soccer.
