About The University of New Mexico
- The University of New Mexico is situated in Albuquerque, a city of approximately 700,000 people in the sunny Southwest.
- The University of New Mexico has a student population of 26,000. Although most undergraduates come from the Albuquerque area, there are many students from other states and over 900 international students from more than 80 countries.
- UNM offers 210 certificate and degree programs with 93 bachelor’s degrees,
68 master’s degrees and 37 doctoral degrees in the following nine colleges:
Anderson Schools of Management, School of Architecture and Planning, College
of Arts & Sciences, College of Education, School of Engineering, College
of Fine Arts, University College, School of Law, and the Health Sciences Center.
It is a major university in the state of New Mexico, and an educational center
for the southwestern United States.
