
In order to help us accomplish these updates in a timely manner, we request that you review your department and faculty/staff listings in the Online Directories on the WWW. Please read carefully and use the procedures on the following pages for your updates.
Deadline for Information for the Campus Directory
Because this information is viewed on a daily basis by individuals using the WWW, it is essential that changes within your department be reported to CIRT as soon as they occur. Call Anne Snider at 277-7807 or email asnider@unm.edu if you have any questions.
How to review and print your Faculty/Staff Listings
If you have access to the WWW, go to the UNM home page (http://www.unm.edu) and click on black phone icon to view your department listing. You may do a search of faculty and staff within your department by filling in the organizational code you are responsible for in the organizational code field and clicking on Search. To search for multiple organizational codes, use asterisks to do a wildcard search (e.g. 604**). To search for a single organizational code, enter the org code (e.g. 60400). Use Search Tips for help with searches.
A new screen will then display the results of your search. If you desire a printout, click on print. The listings fit best on portrait orientation. To return to the online directory, click the Back button on the button bar. Click Reset to clear all entries and begin with a new query.
If you do not have access to the WWW, you may go to one of the various CIRT Pods on campus to review your information.
If you have not provided us with an office phone number for your new employees, the main phone number you provided for your department will be used. The campus mailing address you provided for your department will be listed for all of your employees' addresses.
If circumstances warrant, an employee may be omitted from the Campus Directory. Approval must be obtained, in writing, from the employee's Dean or Director, as well as approval from the Provost for faculty or the Associate VP for Human Resources for staff.
How to review and print your Departmental Listings
If you have access to the WWW go to the UNM Home page (http://www.unm.edu) and click on the black phone icon to view your department listing. Click on either Main Campus or Health Sciences Listing. You may use the alphabet icons for quick access to your department listings. If your department has responsibility for multiple departmental listings, CIRT will provide you with a list upon request.
NOTE: Faculty/Staff employee listings will not be displayed below primary departmental listing(s) in the Online Directory, however, they will continue to be printed in the hardcopy directory. If you do not want your faculty/staff listed below your departmental listing(s) in the hardcopy of Campus Directory, please notify Anne Snider at 277-7807.
How to Send Updates to CIRT
Please send departmental and faculty/staff changes by e-mail to asnider@unm.edu. Extensive changes may be made by legibly writing in the correct information to your hardcopy printout. Return or fax (277-8101) to CIRT, Attn: Anne Snider.
Information for the Online Directory is refreshed every Monday and Thursday . We will send you e-mail when your requested changes have been made. You may then review the Online Directory to ensure the changes were made to your satisfaction.
NOTE: If we do not receive any updates, we will assume no changes are necessary and will print your listings for the Campus Directory (hardcopy) as they appear online.
Pilot Group Update Procedures
The Pilot group will follow the same procedure as last year by inputting employee office phone numbers and e-mail addresses on screen 22 of HRS.
