Students intending to apply to graduate degree status at UNM must have at least a 3.0 GPA. This includes all transfer credit hours from Non-Degree and other postsecondary institutions.

Students with a baccalaureate degree wishing to transfer into a graduate program should contact the department in which they wish to major, for the application materials. Applicants are required to fill out an application and submit it to the Office of Admissions located at the Student Services Center, Room 140. Applications are also available online, however, departments often require additional materials be submitted with the application, so it is in the student's best interest to contact the department of the intended major.
