| Spring Qualitative Café Brown Bag Set for Thursday, Feb. 12
The next Spring Qualitative Café Brown Bag has been scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 12, from 12 to 1 p.m., in rm. 368 at the College of Nursing. The lecture titled, "An Ethnography of Women Participating in U.S. Microcredit," will feature Dr. Rebekah Salt, assistant professor, UNM College of Nursing.
Business to Business Breakfast Series
The Anderson School of Management will continue its successful Business to Business Breakfast series on Friday, Feb. 13 at 7:30 a.m. with author and Generation Y expert Nancy Barry. For the first time in history, there are four generations in the workplace. During her presentation Ms. Barry will provide insight into each generation - who they are, what they want and what makes them different from the other generations - and offer solutions on how they can all work well together.
Nominations Sought for Sarah Belle Brown Community Service Awards
The Committee for Public Service and Community Engagement and Human Resources is seeking nominations for the annual Sarah Belle Brown Community Service Award. The deadline for nominations is Monday, Feb. 16 at 5 p.m. The annual Sarah Belle Brown awards recognize staff, students and faculty who serve as examples of social responsiveness and who have, over an extended period, donated considerable personal time and effort advancing the University of New Mexico's public service mission. RWJF Center Fellowship Applications Sought
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Center for Health Policy at UNM will award 10 fellowships of $24,000 each with full tuition remission and student health insurance for a total value of more than $31,000 (for non-resident students) and three new dissertation fellowships of $12,000 with similar benefits for the academic year 2008-09. All awards are annual (12 months) with the possibility of renewal for students in good academic standing. The deadline for nominations is Friday, March 6.
