Spanish cuisine, music, dance
Maxwell Museum Association is hosting an evening of Spanish
cuisine, music and dance to benefit the Maxwell Museum
of Anthropology and the Alfonso Ortiz Center for Intercultural
Spain, will be held at the Sheraton Old Town Inn,
800 Rio Grande Blvd. NW, Saturday, Aug. 24 from 6 to 11
p.m. The cost is $100 per person or $1,250 for a reserved
table of 10.
guest will be author Jean Auel, who will sign copies of
her book, The Shelters of Stone, published
by Random House.
will be provided by celebrity chefs Josu Zubikarai of
Taberna Del Alabardero, Washington DC; Joyce Goldstein,
chef and author of Savoring Spain and Portugal; Mark Miller
of Coyote Cafe, Santa Fe and Las Vegas; and Anthony Chavez
of Sheraton Old Town Inn. Hector Pimentel and Alma Flamenca
will provide the evenings entertainment, which will
