AGORA seeks volunteers

AGORA, the oldest student run crisis center in the nation, will hold volunteer training sessions Sept. 14, 21, and 28.

Learn about technology training at Cont. Ed

The Business and Technology Training program at Continuing Education will host an open house Tuesday, Aug. 27 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. to acquaint the public with its state-of-the-art training facilities, certification programs and courses.

Free workshop topics include marketing on the web and using the Internet securely.

Engineering, Sandia hold cleanroom open house

The School of Engineering is holding an open house for its Manufacturing Training and Technology Center cleanroom Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The event is co-hosted by Sandia National Laboratories.

In addition to training UNM engineers and TVI technician students, the cleanroom is now open to small companies to prototype microelectronic and microsystem devices.
