Holiday
hours announced
The winter
holidays at UNM officially begin Monday, Dec. 23 and will extend
through Wednesday, Jan.1, giving most University employees 12
consecutive days off. Regular University hours resume on Thursday,
Jan. 2.
Certain
critical facilities and departments, such as police and those
involved in patient care, will remain open during the holidays.
Other major campus departments and facilities have listed special
holiday hours.
The University
libraries have announced holiday hours. They include:
- All branches
of the General Library closed Dec. 21-Jan. 1; Centennial Science
and Engineering Library, Parish Memorial Library and the Fine
Arts Library, during intersession will be open Mon.-Thurs. 9
a.m.-6 p.m., Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; closed weekends. Zimmerman
intersession, open Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m.-6
p.m.
- Health
Sciences Center Library: Open Sunday, Dec. 22 from 1 p.m.-6
p.m.; open Monday, Dec. 23 from 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m.; closed Tuesday,
Dec. 24-Wednesday, Dec. 25; open Thursday, Dec. 26-Saturday,
Dec. 28 from 9:30 a.m.- 6 p.m.; open Sunday, Dec. 29 from 1
p.m.-6 p.m.; open Monday, Dec. 30 from 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m.; closed
Dec. 31-Jan. 1.
- The CIRT
building will close effective Monday, Dec. 23, at 7 a.m. and
reopen on Thursday, Jan. 2, at 7 a.m.
Computer
systems, networks and dial-up lines will be available for clients.
Jobs requesting manual tape mounts will not be run. All
printed output will be available for pick up on Jan. 2. Operators/technical
staff will work some shifts during the holiday break.

Bookstore will be open Monday, Dec. 23, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.;
closed Tuesday, Dec. 24-Thursday, Dec. 26; open Friday, Dec.
27, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; closed Saturday Dec. 28-Sunday, Dec.
29; open Monday, Dec. 30, from 10 a.m.- 3p.m.; closed Dec. 31-Jan.
