ASM gains CIRT pod

Management and control of the Anderson Schools of Management (ASM) computer pod will be transferred to ASM from Computer and Information Resources and Technology (CIRT) at the end of the semester. Its use will then be restricted to ASM and the School of Public Administration.

The transfer, approved by UNM administration, will not reduce the number of workstations available for public use. The Lobo Lab, located in the SUB, should reopen by fall semester with more than double the workstations previously there.

Teen seminar offered

A “Teen Insight Seminar” presented by Life Education Network of the Southwest (LENS) will be held May 23-25, at the UNM Research Park.

“This empowering workshop will offer opportunities for teenagers ages 14-18 to experience greater self esteem, community, friendships, communication, loving and peace within themselves and their world,” said Earth and Planetary Sciences Research Professor Horton Newsom, event volunteer.

For information and to register, contact Newsom at 263-5505, or the LENS office in Santa Fe (505) 989-7233, www.lens-insight.org.
