VP to teach course in Mexico

UNM Vice President for Student Affairs Eliseo “Cheo” Torres will soon be headed to Cuernavaca in Morelos, Mexico, to teach “Our Ancestors’ Medicine: A Traditional Integrative Medicine Approach,” a UNM Women Studies course offered in conjunction with La Tranca’s Institute of Traditional Medicine and the Universidad de Morelos.

Offered July 4-13 in English, coursework will include an introduction to integrative and traditional techniques. “This is a unique opportunity for people to learn about a long-neglected, but valuable, part of Mexican history and culture,” Torres said.
