Regent Doug BrownNew Mexico Governor Bill Richardson recently named local businessman Doug Brown, president and CEO of Tuition Plan, Inc., member of the UNM Board of Regents. Brown replaces former Regent Larry Willard who resigned to become chairman of the New Mexico Economic Development Corp.

Brown, fomer chairman of the Talbot Financial Corp. in Albuquerque, served two terms as national head of Stanford University annual fundraising, and served as as Stanford University Trustee from 1994-98. He earned both his undergraduate and master's degrees from that institution.
