governor to lecture at UNM
Arizona
Governor Janet Napolitano will be the guest speaker for the
second annual Arthur A. Blumenfeld Memorial Lecture on Friday,
Sept. 26, at 6 p.m. at the Sheraton Old Town.
She will
also speak to students and faculty in the UNM Anderson Schools
of Management and School of Public Administration at a private
luncheon at the UNM Student Union Building.
The Arthur
A. Blumenfeld Endowed Lecture Series honors the life and work
of Blumenfeld, former national president of the Government Finance
Officers Association and former Chief Administrative Officer
of the City of Albuquerque.
The evening
event is open to the public with a cocktail reception beginning
at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and the governors keynote
speech. Tickets for the event are $75. Tickets are limited.
