NWNM Science & Engineering Fair at UNM
The best and brightest young scientists from the greater Albuquerque metropolitan area will compete in the 45th Annual Northwestern New Mexico (NWNM) Regional Science & Engineering Fair on Friday and Saturday, March 19-20, at Johnson Center on the UNM campus.
Almost 1,000 middle and high school students will exhibit science fair projects and compete for nearly $50,000 in prizes and scholarships. The schedule includes a public open house Saturday, March 20, from 1-2:30 p.m.
Visitors will also be able to visit corporate booth displays from the Native Plant Society, Explora Science Center & Children’s Museum, Sandia National Laboratories, UNM Outreach Services, UNM School of Medicine, Summer Science Camps/Camp Invention, Scientific Applications International Corporation (SAIC), Hobsons and more.
