Bar Association honors UNM law professor Dec. 5

Michael BrowdeMichael Browde, professor at the University of New Mexico School of Law, has been named outstanding lawyer of the year by the Albuquerque Bar Association. The association will present its 2006 outstanding judge and lawyer awards at its annual meeting luncheon on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at noon at the Albuquerque Petroleum Club.

Browde joined UNM's law faculty in 1977 after having served as law clerk to the Honorable Luther Youngdahl of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, followed by a seven year stint with the Legal Aid Society of Albuquerque. He teaches primarily in the area of Constitutional law.
